In the light of the crisis experienced by the Kurdistan Region and the recession that the markets are going through, the issue of corporate governance is highlighted for its importance and benefits to companies, ensuring the continuity of its activity and obtaining the confidence of international banks for the purpose of obtaining loans, as well as reducing administrative corruption and the regulatory environment in the company, thus increasing its productivity and profits.

The Kurdistan Institute of directors presented a "Corporate Governance" training course on 2017/9/18-17 sponsored by the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Kurdistan Region and the support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The number of participants reached up to 10 different companies: ( Mega Mall – Fanoos Telecom – RT Bank – Al Reyam Company – Kar Group – Salahaddin Company – Mass Group).
