The Iraqi Institute of Directors was established to disseminate the corporate governance notions in Iraq and the region. These principles are extremely important to lead and guide private and public companies and other financial institutions for the purpose of having these principles practiced and applied in their institutions. This should go in line with the internationally-recognized best practices, which have great benefits for all business actors, stakeholders and staff members to reach the specified objectives.
