Governance Institute for Directors (GIoD) coordinated with International Finance corporation IFC / World Bank organized a workshop in (Managing organizations under crisis) sponsored by Union of Chamber of Commerce and Industrials of Kurdistan Region. The Workshop took place in Chamber of Commerce Building / Erbil on the 24^th of July-2019.

The participants were form different Iraqi Companies (Mass group, Vana group, Balla, Maria Co., Medicano Hospital, Blue Arrow Co.) Moderated by Mr. Rohat Zada.

The aim of the workshop was:

• Define and selects the crisis, different between crisis and risk.
• Discussing the best solutions and practices for the risks which is (Corporate Governance) .
• Discussing the importance of existing board of directors in each organization.
